9-year-old Boy is looking for a PA in LS7 £12.40 - Leeds - LS7

9 years old with a diagnosis of Autism.

 He enjoys activities within the community such as trampolining, trips to the park, soft play and Tropical World. At times he likes to go to the cinema to watch a film he has seen advertised. 

6 hours Direct Payments per week plus an additional 4 hours in school holidays. 

The hours are funded on a 2:1 basis. 

Mum will attend all sessions initially until a positive relationship has been built between the young person and the PA and the PA is comfortable and confident in managing any behaviours which challenge. 

He communicates using some verbal language (simple words and learnt phrases) as well as gestures and taking an adult to where he wants to go.

He can display some behaviours which challenge when he becomes upset or frustrated. Having visuals support and preparing him for what is happening helps reduce these behaviours.

Travel initially will be in Mum’s car as this has been adapted to keep driver/passenger safe. He also has a car harness fitted to the car. 

He is ready to develop his interests within the community and develop his independence skills. 

£12.40 per hour.
