We are looking to recruit two caring and friendly Personal Care Assistants to support a retired lady in her own home.  The ideal applicants will be very reliable and flexible, so that the support can be shared and covered provided for each other during any holidays or periods of unexpected absence. Experience supporting people with Dementia would be desirable. 
 
The role involves supporting this lady with daily living tasks including helping her to get washed and dressed, providing her breakfast and a drink, and leaving a prepared snack for lunchtime.  Make the bed and put bedding in to wash when required. 
 
In the afternoon, provide a hot meal at teatime using a microwave or Air fryer; then wash dishes, prompt medication and put a clean set of bedding as and when required. 
 
This lady has a supportive family around her, and all she needs currently is a little additional support to complement them.  
 
Hours 
 
1 x 30-minute call at 10:00am Monday to Sunday. 
1 x 30-minute call at 6:00pm Monday to Sunday. 
 
Rate of pay 
 
£14.67 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year - pro-rata. 
Benefit access to ILG PA, which will be explained at the interview.
