Job Details
I am a 19 year old with a learning disability and autism who would like to be able to get out and about in the community but need support to do this. Duties will vary from day to day but I like trips in to the City, to visit The Cat House, Waterstones and McDonalds. I am a big Disney fan and would like to chat with my PA's about my favourite characters. I have my own big screen set up to watch films in our garage.

I do need support and encouragement to eat and drink during the day and prompting with all aspects of personal care. I also require support to regulate my emotions at times, particularly if routing has changed or if I become emotionally dysregulated from sensory overload.

Essential
Must have experience in working with people with severe LD and Autism

Must be confident to go into the community taking responsibility for me

Full Driving License and appropriate class of insurance if using own vehicle

Enhanced (Adult and Child) DBS, the cost of which will be covered by employer

Must have completed all relevant training including all Safeguarding training

Must be approachable and patient

Preferrable
Shared interests (Disney and Cats)

Hours of Work
Thursdays and Fridays, 9am to 5pm

Rate of Pay
£12.89 per hr
