Personal Assistant required for outgoing 55-year-old woman with learning difficulties in Easton to support with daily living needs, personal care, accessing the community and maintaining a liveable environment. Client enjoys swimming, walking, listening to music and attending a local history group. Client likes to be as independent as possible and would like to continue to live independently as much as possible.
 
Main Duties: 
-      Client is non-verbal so support required for communicating thoughts, feelings and needs
-      Support required for all domestic and/or house related task e.g. hoovering, tidying, shopping, cleaning and laundry. Along with maintaining a clean and habitable environment. 
-      Support required with preparing, cooking and eating meals and drinks.  
-      Support required with all aspects of personal care including toileting, showering and dressing.  
-      Supporting client with managing finances, paying bills and dealing with correspondence.  
-      Full support with safely accessing the community, attending health appointments, taking medication and maintaining relationships with peers.

Weekly Hours:
- Flexible up to 30 hours per week* at £9.50 per hour – mainly to provide holiday cover for existing PA and to cover sickness if required. Occasional sleeping night shifts (8 hours) may also be required** .

 PA Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of working with adults with learning difficulties. 
- Awareness of respecting professional and personal boundaries
- Flexible, motivated and reliable
- Highly trustworthy and organised
- Ability to act in a patient, calm and non-judgemental manner
