I am a friendly, outgoing person with a 5 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and feet and suffer with flares and severe pain. I am looking for a support worker who can help me in the following tasks: ( When I am unable to )

  • Making breakfast and putting it away
  • Hoovering and cleaning
  • Assisting with bathing and showering my children
  • Tidying
  • Making beds
  • Washing up
  • Hanging out washing
  • Putting clothes away
  • Walking my children to school
  • Cooking
  • Dressing
  • Plus any other reasonable requests. 

The hours will be broken-down as follows:
7.30-10:30am  and 5-7:30pm Mon - Fri = 27 hrs per week (jobshare possible - 1  role 15hrs, 1 role 12hrs p/w))
The hours will be flexible based on my needs. There is the possibility of working alternate weekends when needed. Hours during school holidays would also be subject to change.

Candidate must be happy to work with a cat in the property.

Previous experience is preferred but not a requirement.  Ideally you will have your own transport as you will commence work at 7:30am.  

My PA will be directed by and accountable to me, in all aspects of their role. S/he must always respect my independence, and ask rather than assume, what assistance I require. A full induction and training will/can be given. 
 
Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
