• Accompanying me on outings and activities.
• Providing companionship and encouragement.
• Supervising blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections.
• Ensuring I take my medication after breakfast and lunch.

• Full UK driving licence

• The rate of pay for this position is: £12.50 per hour
• Hours and days of work: 8 hours per week, flexible – to be negotiated at interview.
• The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks (calculated based on annual hours worked). 
• Free Care Skills training for all staff.
• If this job requires any of the following: manual handling, handling of hazardous chemicals (e.g. household cleaning products), food handling, handling of medication. You will be required to undertake annual training.

• A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. 
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
•  Completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
