I am a young girl with autism and learning difficulties who is seeking a female PA to take me out during the school holidays for fun activities like soft play, swimming, cinema, going to the park and adventures like going to the zoo.
Due to my autism and learning difficulties I have limited speech, although I can understand verbal instructions. I often need promoting on what I need to do and when out and about I will require someone who can take me to the bathroom. Due to this, candidates with an understanding of children with autism and learning difficulties would be ideal.
I am seeking a PA who can work 10 hours a week each, over 2/3 days, during the school holidays (13 weeks a year). The exact days and times of which are negotiable at interview. This will be a phased start, whereby, to begin with my mum will join us until which time I feel comfortable.
I am an active young girl who enjoys running, jumping, swimming and cycling. I also enjoy reading and having someone who can support me to do so would be ideal.
Female PA required due to personal care element.

Summary terms and conditions:
- The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
- Free access to Care Skills training for all employees.
- Hours and days of work: 10 hours per week during the school holidays, over 2/3 days. Days and times of which are negotiable at interview.
- The annual holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata for part-time employees.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory three month probationary period.
- If this job requires any of the following: Manual handling, handling of hazardous chemical (general household cleaning products), food handling. You will be required undertake annual training.
