Two Personal Care Assistants for a woman P/T@ £13.09/hr in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea - Newbiggin-By-The-Sea - NE64

We are looking for two caring, chatty female care assistants to support an 83-year-old woman to remain independent within her own home.  The support will require assistance with personal care (bathing and dressing), meal preparation and associated light household tasks as well as prompts with medication.
 
The ideal applicant will be:
·        Local to the Newbiggin area
·        Have a happy go lucky personality
·        Family orientated
·        Willing to form a working relationship with the client and her family.
 
The woman would prefer somebody similar in nature to her. She is chatty, independent and very family orientated. She enjoys reading, watching daytime television especially period dramas.
 
Hours Breakdown:   
Monday to Sunday – to be split between two care assistants 
·        30 minute morning call at approximately 8:30-9am 
·        30 minutes teatime call at approximately 5-5:30pm 
·        Times are flexible for the right applicant 
·        Holiday is accrued at 5.6 weeks pro rata per year  

A full enhanced disclosure and barring certificate to work with adults will be required. The full cost will be met by the employer.  
Where required, all training will be delivered via the local authority learning together platform. This will be delivered online, on the job and face-to-face training as applicable. Adult safeguarding and medication administration will be required, as a minimum.
