We are looking for two positive, mature, experienced Personal Assistants able to interact (without any distractions) and support a non-verbal late teenage girl who has developed her own sign language. With complex needs can you imagine not having a voice to express your feelings, wants and needs?

This understandably causes this young lady to become angry and frustrated with a tendency to self-harm by hitting her head. With a love of the outdoors and getting out and about the PA’s will support this young lady together and enable her to have breaks away at the Golden Sands resort. Ideally the support would be weekdays but for the right people weekends would not be a problem.

Once you have established a rapport you will develop the appropriate strategies to make a positive difference not only to this teenager but also to her loving family.

The successful applicants must be over 25 years of age, with a clean driving licence to enable them to drive the motibility vehicle that will allow for safe travel.
