Support Worker LS13 - 15 Hrs Mon/Tue/Wed to support a gentleman with Aphasia and Diabetes - Leeds - LS13

To support a gentleman with Aphasia which affects his communication and his ability to speak. 
He enjoys walking and the support worker would accompany him although he likes quieter spaces.
The support worker needs to interact with him regardless of his difficulties and understand that this is important.  He can speak a limited amount of words.
He has diabetes and an understanding of this condition would be helpful. You would make meals and he also likes DIY and the person could help him with their role.  
The support worker would work Monday 9am - 3pm Tuesday 9am - 3pm and Wednesday 10am-1pm
The role would give his wife a break from her caring role.
Confidentiality is important and you will have a dbs check and right to work
Two references will be taken up
Training will be offered via the council and is free
5.6 weeks holiday entitlement per annum pro rata
