I am a 24 year old wheelchair user with a severe visual impairment and some speech difficulties who is seeking a friendly P.A. with a great sense of humour to support me and allow my parents some respite. I  like playing games on Alexa and comedy, and generally having a good laugh. I listen to the radio as I cannot see television, and I like to go out and walk our dog, weather permitting. There is only one basic requirement occasionally for personal care, to be discussed at interview, I would need also assistance with eating although I can manage to drink. I’d like my P.A. to be up for a good chat, and be young at heart, sharing my interests.

·       The rate of pay for this position is £9.37 per hour 

                                      

·       Hours and times of work:  2 evenings per week at flexible times depending on activities, up to 10hrs weekly.

 

·       A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

 

·       Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.

 

·       Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
