Personal Care Support for a young adult P/T@ £13.74/hr in Blyth - Blyth - NE24

A 31-year old young woman who lives in the Blyth area is looking to recruit her own team of personal care assistants to support her each morning with her morning routine including personal care and dressing.  

The young woman would prefer female carers who are bright, bubbly and have a can- do approach to her care and support.   
The successful applicant will be: 
·       Female due to personal care support 
·       Physically able to manage moving and handling elements of the care plan 
·       Experienced in support individuals whilst maintaining their dignity and independence 
·       Experienced or willing to learn to support with catheter care 
·       Happy go lucky 
·       Local to the Blyth area due to the short nature of the calls  

The young woman lives within her family home and is keen on shopping, make up, hair care as well as enjoying gaming in her free time. 

Individuals who share her interests are encouraged to apply.  
The Care Plan:  
Each morning approximately 9-9:30am a 30-minute call with two workers to support with 
·        bed bathing 
·       selecting clothing and dressing 
·       hoisting from bed into her wheelchair  

Due to the nature of the young woman’s condition, individuals who can take direction and listen to how she prefers her support to be delivered are essential.
