Hi, I’m Mitch! I'm a 32 year old male, I get my down days, but like to try and get the most out of life. I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and use an electric wheelchair. I run care packages for myself and my children, as I have full capacity and manage all relevant affairs. I write my own lifestyle blog (8+ years), I love all types of music, films and getting out and about in and around the local community.

I live in the Cheswick Village area of Stoke Gifford in Bristol, next to the University of the West of England Frenchay Campus in a purpose built, specially adapted bungalow with my 2 young children, 8 and 6 (who have their own Parental Support Workers – Nannies to facilitate my parental role and won't be your direct responsibility). We also have an older dog; a friendly Black Labrador called Bella, who likes to go on walks. I require full-time 1-to-1 support with all of my day-to-day complex care needs; as directed by myself for myself, my children and my pet, with a person centred approach to care.

Between 24 and 36 hours per week contracts, plus potential ad hoc and last minute shifts to cover staff Annual Leave and / or sickness, if interested and when possible (you'll receive double pay, if you're given less than 48 hours notice).

£16.50 per hour on Weekends
£14.00 per hour on Weekdays

- Preferably have a Full UK Driver's Licence, with no driving convictions and I must be informed of all future driving offences; there is off street parking.
- Complete mandatory online respiratory training via video conference on Microsoft Teams with the NIV nurses from the NIV Team at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI), for all of my specialist respiratory equipment.
- Have a love for adventures and getting out and about!
