Job title: Personal Assistant/ Care-Worker – 18 Hours p/w flexibly in Whitchurch, BS14
Hourly Rate - £9 per hour
Holiday Entitlement – 5.6 weeks per annum pro rata
Probationary Period – 3 months
To support a husband and wife in the community for social integration. The PA would be assisting on public transport and offering general care whilst out. The support will aim to boost their confidence when going out into the community in their wheelchairs.
The PA will need to have a full and clean driving licence as they may be required to drive a mobility vehicle. When they are not using the mobility vehicle all transport will be via public transport.
The PA should have a good sense of humour and be flexible with their availability. They must be willing to follow direction and appreciate that the needs of the employer may change day-to-day.
Some shifts may require the PA to support both individuals together. This would be arranged directly with the employer when needed.
