Personal Care Assistant needed to help support a 28 year old man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Location: Toxteth, Liverpool, L8.

Hours: 30hrs/wk 

Pay: £12 p/h FTE £23K

 I require assistance with some aspects of daily living. This includes support with domestic tasks:-
Maintaining a household 
Food preparation 
Personal care 
Showering
Dressing 
Exercising 
Socialising
Attending family gatherings 
General support

I am a huge LFC fan and once fans are allowed back in I will need assistance to games. I enjoy music, listening and playing, watching sports, spending time outdoors. 

I am looking for in a PA who is friendly, easy-going, and supportive, has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. It is important that you can keep yourself busy during times when I do not require much support. An ability to be flexible in the working pattern is important.

Experience in manual handling would help, but full training will be given.

DBS check will be required. Two references will requested and checked before the job is offered and a 4 week probation period may be considered.
