Personal Care Assistant for a young lady P/T@ £12.21/hr in Billingham - Billingham - TS23

PA required to support a young lady with personal care, independence and accessing the community. The young lady, following brain surgery 5 years ago, struggles in the community as she suffers with hallucinations and needs support to access the community and maintain independence.

She requires support with:-
1 hour for personal care support - encouragement to access shower twice weekly, support with washing and drying of hair.
3 hours social call- to develop confidence and independent skills in the community
1 hour food preparation support

Initially we would be looking for somebody to work 5 hours per week Monday - Friday, however this is flexible and will be discussed at interview.

We are looking for someone friendly, understanding and encouraging. With a sensitive, person-centered approach. Experience of working with clients with ADHD and mental health conditions would be an advantage.

Applicants must have a full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check cost to be met by employer.
