Personal Care Assistant for a person P/T@ £13.09/hr in Hexham - FTE - £25.5k - Hexham - NE48

Do you have a patient, caring, reliable nature and are available at 8.30 am for two mornings a week to support an elderly lady with dementia? This lady uses a walking stick and commode hence personal care is involved and she needs support to get out of bed, get washed, get dressed and have breakfast and a cup of tea prepared.

With a supportive husband and daughter providing the remainder of care for this lady, not only would you be making a difference to her, but also to them. You don’t have to have had previous experience in this role, often people have it without realizing, if you have personal or professional experience of helping others, we look forward to hearing from you.   

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour 
Hours Breakdown:  2 x hours per week to be split 1 hour over two days                                   
5.6 weeks per year holiday cover for other morning calls will also be required by mutual agreement with the employer
