A 61-year-old lady living independently is seeking a reliable, hard-working, and friendly Personal Care Assistant to support her at home and in the community.

She has Multiple Sclerosis and uses a wheelchair. Transfers are carried out using a hoist, with assistance from one person.

Role Details

Hours: 17 hours per week
Days: Minimum of 3 days per week
Times: Flexible – to be discussed at interview

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with transfers in and out of bed (morning and evening)
Meal preparation
Domestic tasks and shopping
Supporting access to the local community
Promoting independence and dignity in daily living

Experience & Training

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
Full training will be provided, including safe use of a hoist
A caring attitude and willingness to learn are essential
