I am a male looking to add to the team of PA’s who support me. I have a spinal injury and live at home, supported by a care team. The team support includes assisting me with my bathroom and personal care routines. The post requires the team members to stay overnight on the premises. The employee has their own bedroom and bathroom.
Tasks include:
Helping to prepare meals
Helping with housework & laundry
Assisting with physiotherapy appointments
Accompanying me to individual appointments
Assisting with personal care & showering
The right person:
Driving license is strongly preferred as I need to be driven in my car to appointments
It is not essential that you have experience in care and support, but you must have common sense, be flexible, enthusiastic and be willing to learn. The right person for this post is able to work flexibly and occasionally pick up extra shifts to support cover for sickness and annual leave within the team.
The hours :
4 full shifts every two weeks, this would be 4 days and 4 nights worked consecutively on a rota basis. I’m looking for somebody to work Monday morning - Friday morning every 2 weeks.
Shifts start at 10.30 am and each shift comprises of 17 waking hours and 1 sleeping night
The rates of pay and benefits £14.30 per waking hour and £61 per sleeping night
This post would equate to x 136 waking hours and x8 sleeping nights every 4 week pay period.
