Personal Assistant/Support Worker required for 2 teenage boys – Based in BS31 - BRISTOL - BS31

Required for two male siblings aged 12 and 15 year old with Autism, severe learning disability based in Keynsham, to access the community, create independence and offer respite for family.

PA required for two sessions per week for three hours per session for a total of 6 hours, can be flexible with when the session takes place (although not during school hours).  

Rate of pay weekday £9.23 per hour.

PA will be lone working and providing companionship to access the community and encouragement to engage in social activities such as swimming, play parks, Trampoline Park, and the general outdoors.  Promoting safety in the community and danger awareness is important.  At the moment during Covid there is opportunity to remotely support via online gaming.   

The ideal candidate will be mature in nature and have experience and understanding of Autism and behavioural issues, and have a calm but firm manner, patience, a good sense of humour and lots of energy.

Car owner preferred but not essential, PA must however have a full, clean UK driving licence. 

Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
