Job description: Social care opportunity for a Personal Assistant to assist a young family.

Job purpose: Cleaning a large three story town house, and occasionally assist with food shopping, and any other duties that cannot be carried out by the employer at the time.
The employer lives with Fibromyalgia, which is a widespread nerve pain, along with chronic fatigue, and hyper mobile. Every day is different, which affects her ability to carry out domestic tasks for her family.
Location: Downham Market
Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Primary doing heavy lifting with cleaning such as; hoovering, washing, dishwasher, and other domestic tasks that is necessary at the time.
- Occasionally assist with food shopping
- Garden maintenance such as; mowing
Person Specification
Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Assessment of these, both on application and at the interview, will be the main factor in determining your success.
Essential:
- Able to use stairs
- Confident with large dogs (Huskey & rescue dog)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Use of own vehicle for work purposes - Willing to travel with young baby/toddler.
- Able to listen and follow instructions

Desirable:
- Cleaning experience
Summary Terms and Conditions:
-The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 p/h.
-Hours and times of work as follows: Minimum 6hours a week, maximum 12hrs a week. Days and times to be discussed at interview.
-A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
-Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
- Annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

You will be required undertake annual training.
