Job description: Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant.

Job purpose: Support a 44 year old spiritualist lady living with her wife with domestic care, personal care, and social activities.
The employer wishes to stay as independent as possible, but requires support with tasks that they find challenging to complete. They are house proud, therefore having attention to detail when completing the domestic care will be an advantage.
Location: East Winch, PE32
Details:
- Housework i.e. laundry, hoovering.

Person Specification:

Essential:
- Full UK Driving licence - May be required to drive employers car.
- Good with animals specially cats and dogs
- Female due to personal care aspect of role
- Experience in the care industry
- Experience with one to one working
- Flexible
- Reliable
- Attention to detail
Desirable:
- Cleaning experience
- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities
Summary Terms and Conditions
- The rate of pay for this position is £15.34p/h.
- Hours and times of work as follows: Wednesday mornings are required 09:30-12:30. Then over the school holidays will be asked to work additional days being Tuesdays and Thursday's and to cover employee annual leave, which could consist of working Monday-Friday.
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

You will be required undertake annual training.
