Can you spare 4 hours per week with additional in school holidays?
Meet Janayd:
· I am very chatty and enjoy talking with those around me about subjects that interest me.
· I enjoy playing with my cars, watching videos and looking up new toys on online, jigsaws and colouring.
· I would like to start going out into the community and trying new activities such as (give examples of what you would like the PA to do with Janayd!)
· I would also like to start using the public bus to travel around my local and wider community, this will help develop my independence.
You will:
· Support Janayd when out in the community with accessing all the activities he enjoys.
· Discuss other activity ideas with Mum/Dad to broaden Janayd’s experiences and develop his independence skills.
· Add any other roles/responsibilities you would like the PA to be aware of.
Extra Information:
I understand most adult instructions, however, please keep your language simple and give me time to process as this will help ensure I understand you.
I use visual supports in school and at home to aid my understanding.
I need to be closely supervised at all times when out and about as I have little sense of danger and may walk away unexpectedly.
I don’t like people being upset or angry with me. – let me know how I can make you feel happy with my behaviour.
Reminding me of consequences can make me anxious – it is more effective to remind me what the good choice is.
Janayd has 4 hours per week term time and 10 hours per week school holidays.
Rate of pay £11.30 an hour.
Weekly hours would ideally be carried out on (day of week and times), however this can be flexible for the right candidate.
