Job Purpose:
I am a friendly lady with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Parkinson’s who is seeking a female personal assistant to assist me with everyday living tasks such as personal care, light housework, meal prep, paperwork and to collect my prescription from the pharmacy. I require someone who can work Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
Due to mobility issues, I am not able to get out of the house a lot and use a wheelchair to move around my home. I require assistance with washing my hair and putting cream on. I also require someone who can prepare me a light lunch and perform light housework duties such as changing the bed and vacuuming.
There are times when, due to my Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, I can be quiet. Strong smells can also be off putting to me, as such I will require someone who will not wear perfume while working.
Female personal assistant required due to personal care (schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies)

Summary terms and conditions:
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
- Hours and days of work, 6 hours per week: Fridays and Saturdays 10am - 1pm
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role

The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory references from one referee
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
- Should this role include any of the following duties: Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemical, Food Handling, handling of medication. You will be required undertake annual training.
