Job Purpose: An opportunity as a holiday and sickness cover personal assistant has become available, to support a lady living in Dereham with day-to-day tasks.
Location: Dereham, lives close to the town centre, so bus links are accessible going to and from her home.
Details:
- When required, support with getting up and dressed on days where she feels that she cannot do this herself.
-Light housework – Hoovering and general upkeep of her home
-Medication support- Prompting to take the required medication at the right times during the day.
-Being there for any support that is needed

Summary terms and conditions:
-The rate of pay for this position is £15.14 per hour for employed, and £18.28 per hour self-employed.
-Hours and times of work: Monday-Friday 9am-1pm 20hrs a week.
- Holiday and sickness cover only
-Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
-The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
-Access to free training for employed workers.
-If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
