We are looking for an empathetic and caring PA who can provide social care and company for an We are looking for an empathetic and caring PA who can provide social care and company for an elderly lady with dementia 3 / 4 days in Nailsea.
Individual has dementia and can get quite anxious and therefore we are looking for someone patient, calm & caring to provide care and social support.
Support needed:
- Light housework
- Helping with medicine
- Meal prep and assistance/encouragement to eat and shower.
- Occasional doctors visit.
- Social support such as daily walks, lunches, shopping, taking to dementia groups and choirs.
We are eager to find someone long term who can be flexible with the changing needs of someone with dementia. We have a carer Mondays & Fridays already and are looking for someone who can assist Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and potentially Saturday too, or have the flexibility to work some Saturdays/overtime.
We are keen to keep up daily social activities such as walks, shopping, dementia groups and choir, lunches etc to ensure individual has the best quality life. As well as this, someone to keep her company at home for a number of hours a day. Ensuring individual eats is very important and therefore we would be looking for someone to assist both lunch and dinner daily, as she may not eat otherwise. Individual gets very lonely so we are looking for someone most of all to keep her company.
Hours needed per week:
Flexible hours 3 to 4 days a week, at least every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday and ideally Saturdays too, or overtime to cover Saturdays/weekends if ever needed.
Between 21-27 hours per week but can be flexible.
Hourly rate: £16.47 but can be negotiated
Required days/times: Hours can be flexible, 3 to 4 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
