Male Personal Assistant Required – Strood Area

A 49-year-old gentleman with a learning disability and Type 2 diabetes is looking for a male Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 support in the Strood area.

The role involves supporting the individual at home and in the community, providing emotional support, liaising with the wider support team, and promoting independence. The successful PA must be a driver and be comfortable using public transport when required.

A good sense of humour, good listening skills and clear communication skills , the ability to work one-to-one with the client are essential.

The individual enjoys swimming, walking, and fun days out, so an active and positive approach is important.

Hours:

8 hours per week
10:00am – 4:00pm
Day to be planned and agreed

Rates (Self-Employed):

£17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday
£18.00 per hour – Saturday & Sunday
Male PA
Driver (essential)
Able to provide emotional reassurance and encouragement
Good communication and listening skills
Patient, reliable, and approachable
Happy to work 1:1 and liaise with the wider team
