I'm looking for a friendly personal assistant to help me with daily living tasks. Your role will be key in supporting me to maintain my independence. I experience anxiety, so having someone patient and understanding is very important to me.
Location: IP 25
Job Description:
Helping to keep my home and garden clean and tidy for myself and my children.
Daily reminders to take my medication.
Supporting me in maintaining a well-balanced diet.
Possible shopping assistance.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:
Must be comfortable around children.
Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
The ideal candidate would require a calming, reassuring, Caring and Patience
The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for my privacy.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
Summary terms and conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.
Hours and times of work: 06 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of six months
