Personal Assistant required to support a 15 year old boy who has autism and a learning disability, and who lives in the Spennymoor area.
I am looking for a Personal Assistant to encourage my son to access social opportunities and develop independent skills.
He enjoys activities such as bowling, trampolining, and cinema.
Duties:
Accompanying my son to social activities.
Hours /Wage:
£10.50 per hour
3 hours per week (or 6 hours per fortnight) term time, weekends.
8 hours per week school holidays.
There is some flexibility around the hours in the school holidays, which we can discuss at interview.
Additional Requirements/Information:
A car driver with own car would be preferred.
Experience of working with young people with special needs would be an advantage.
An enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
