We am looking for a PA who can support our 10 year old son on who is autistic and dyslexic. He is verbal and has no personal hygiene needs.
It is preferred to have male applicants. The hours are 4 term time and 8 during school holidays.

This position would be suitable for a PA who has some experience of working with disabled children or adults. Particularly children or adult’s with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

My son’s personal assistant must supervise him at all times, and always be aware of his vulnerability and his need to be kept safe.

MAIN DUTIES

My son’s personal assistant will be required to do the following tasks and may be asked to carry out other tasks of a similar nature.

Support Tasks

Accompany my son on trips out to museums etc.
Accompany my son to activities in the community
Play games, X-Box, PC and his other interests
Encourage him to try new things

Our son enjoys anything tech and gaming, in particular X Box. He also loves anything old and historical so he loves trips to museums and one of his favourite things to do is browsing around charity shops.

We would love the PA to encourage our son to try different activities and to promote confidence in the outside world and to provide our son with some fun, support and care.
