Job Purpose: Supporting a young teenager boy with developing communication, interaction and independence skills.
Location: NR15, Long Stratton
Details: I am a 13-year-old boy who needs support on 1 to 1 basis with activities. I love the outdoors, parks, open spaces, woodland areas because I really enjoy exploring my environment. I find open spaces and the outdoors very regulatory. I am on the Autistic Spectrum and have severe learning difficulties. I am non-verbal and communicate using some signs and symbols but will mainly lead people to what I need and want. This means I require a high level of support to help with developing my communication, interaction, attention and independence skills. I also need support with regulating my behaviour. I have extremely high energy levels and am more likely to become upset and agitated if I am not occupied. I need constant supervision to be safe as I regularly put things in my mouth.

Summary terms and conditions:
· Rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour
· Hours and times of work: 3 hours per week, exact timing and days agreed in advance
· Annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
. Employee will be required to complete free annual training: Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, GDPR,
Post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
