PA needed to support fun and active teenage girl for 4 hours a week in LS10 (£9.43ph) - LEEDS - LS10
Job Reference (cda263b1)

PURPOSE OF JOB

An enthusiastic and bubbly Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support a fun loving girl with Global Developmental delay access the typical teenage activities that she enjoys. My daughter enjoys going to beauty appointments and has a love of drama so a shared interest in these areas would be ideal. She also loves animals and enjoys activities such as bowling, cinema and jump arena. However she struggles with anxiety which can make these things difficult and this is something that you will need to be aware of. You would not be required to pay to attend any of these activities with her.

It is important that you have confidence in dealing with crisis situations where she feels overwhelmed or anxious and have strategies to de-escalate this if it occurs. My daughter will need prompting to use the toilet but no help once there.

You will need to have your own car to take her out as she does not like to travel on the bus. Bus travel may be something that you will be able to work towards provided her confidence increases in the future.

It is very important that you build up and trusting relationship so we are looking for this position to be a long term arrangement.
