PA for young man with Down syndrome , LS16 - P/T 12 hrs/wk, 18 hrs in school hols - LEEDS - LS16

I am a happy and energetic 19 year old boy who enjoys most things sporty! I enjoy kicking a football, playing tennis, swimming, golfing, bowling, cricket and playing at the park. 
I am a loving boy who likes to please, I have a good sense of humour, I like to watch Mr Bean.  I also like to dance and sing,  play on my Wii games and watch musical films.
I have an intellectual disability with limited vocabulary, I communicate with simple 2/3 key word sentences and Makaton. I find it difficult to verbalise when I am upset or angry and can find it difficult to moderate my behaviour in such circumstances. If I am not happy about something I may try to run away, but usually I will just ask to go home.
I have limited awareness of danger, including road sense.

You will assist me at home and out in the community with accessing all the activities I enjoy.
Discuss other activity ideas with Mum and Dad to broaden my experiences.
Support me with my intimate care needs.
The hours include weekday evenings and Saturdays in term time and school holiday daytimes, they are mostly flexible during those time frames and can be discussed and agreed upon.

Car driver is preferable
Training will be given
Rate of pay is £11.30/hr weekday, £14.07/hr weekend
