Job Purpose 

To assist a young woman clean her house.

 

Location: NR3  

 

Details 

I am a woman with Cerebral Palsy in her early 20s. I graduated university with a degree in English Literature with Creative Writing two years ago and now work as a freelance writer mostly from home but also around Norfolk. I’m a very extroverted individual always willing to go out and spend time with friends. I passed my driving test a year ago which has made this easier. I feel very strongly that disabled people should not be treated any differently. I have a dark sense of humour. I’m very independent but I would like help keeping my house clean now that I am a home owner. I would like a friendly person to assist me with this a couple of times a week.

Summary terms and conditions 

 

·         The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour for employed staff or up to £15 per hour if Self-Employed (paying own contributions)               

·         Hours and times of work: 3 hours a week. Time and day to be discussed at interview.  

 

·         You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role. 

 

·         Free Care Skills Training provided to employed staff 

 

The post is subject to the following: 

 

·         A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. 

 

·         Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. 

 

·         Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
