Male applicant required due to specific requirements around personal care & safeguarding.
Unique opportunity working 2:1 with an autistic young adult. Delivering a home education / living skills program. Community based work will include teaching shopping, taking swimming, running ,trampolining.
Full training, weekly support & team meetings will be provided by professionals who oversee the program.
Ideal candidate would be someone who is resilient, fun, creative & confident & needs to be very physically fit.
Challenging behaviour does occur so you must be able to follow through the behaviour plan ideally have experience:training in dealing with this.
Position is suitable for anyone Male, interested in SEN, psychology, challenging behaviour, occupational therapy.
Previous experience working with SEN or challenging behaviour would be beneficial
