Weekend Personal Assistant/Support Worker

£9.50 - £10.50 an hour depending on experience

Female assistant required to support our client with profound learning disabilities, autism and complex epilepsy to live a safe, meaningful and active life. You will be required to work flexibly at weekends in her own home and also at events and activities in the local area and beyond - one shift on Saturday and one on Sunday. Shifts are currently 7.30am to 1.30pm and 1.15pm to 8.30pm on Saturday, 7.30am to 1.00pm and 2.30pm to 8.30pm on Sunday.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, conscientious assistant with a good sense of humour who is happy working on their own as well as part of a team and who will go the extra mile. Previous experience of care is not essential.

We can offer a supportive and pleasant home environment, with a comprehensive package of paid training to support the client within a structured pattern of activities. You will need to be available one weekday morning every 6 weeks to attend training workshops. The client has a lovely nature and is fun to work with.
