Female Personal Care Assistant required to provide care to an elderly lady living in the Wheatley Hill area of Durham. Night shift 24 hpw 9.50p/hr

This position is Night shift from 10pm – 10am Wednesday and Thursday pm. 24 Hours per week @ £9.50 per hour.

The lady has Dementia with limited mobility and requires support with her day to day living.

This involves a high level of:

· Personal care

· Manual handling

· Administration of medication

· Meal preparation

· Housework

· Hygiene tasks.

Due to the ladies dementia, the carer should have a patient disposition with a flexible approach to their role and be willing to complete any relevant professional development training.

The carer would be expected to be:

· Punctual

· Reliable

· Willing to work as a team member.

Experience would be preferred but not necessary as relevant training will be provided.

A DBS will be required but the cost will be paid for by the employer
