We are looking to recruit an experienced care worker to support an 8-year-old young girl who lives in the Blyth area.  
 
The young girl is a happy individual who loves to take part in activities, engaging in tasks that meet her interests and being around those she is closest to. She loves to sing and listen to stories and somebody with a calm patient nature would be the ideal applicant.  
 
The young girl has complex care needs due to her cerebral palsy and somebody with experience of supporting individuals who are non-verbal with a visual impairment would be preferred. 
 
The support is for: 
 
Tasks include:  
 
A full enhanced disclosure and barring certificate to work with the children’s workforce will be required. The full cost will be met by the employer.  
 
Where appropriate, full training will be provided. This will be in the form of online training, on-the-job, virtual, and self-led online training. For all healthcare and medication tasks, training must be completed prior to supporting such tasks.
