I am recruiting team of female PA (personal assistants) (car drivers ) in Burley (Leeds) who can help and support me to live an independent life. I am a lady with visual impairment and require daily support in relation to my own needs and that of my young daughter.
Morning & evening shifts available all week.
Morning Shifts starts from (9am till 5pm) Evening shift from 5pm till 9pm
A 12 hours shift (9am till 9pm) can also be considered (weekdays & weekends available)

Payrates (gross): Weekdays: £11.30 per hour at all times Weekend: £14.07 per hour at all times

I am looking for individuals who are reliable, understanding, patient and flexible around mine and my daughter’s needs & timings. You would be adventurous, outgoing, someone who can use their initiatives to assist me to find new activities for my daughter, i.e., soft play, dress up, painting, arts & crafts and be hands on with an activity.

You will be creative and cook variety of meals. I require routine and continuity of support to enable me to parent successfully and maintain independence as much as possible.
Having experience with children is desirable but not essential ( could be life experience/ working experience). I would like you to assist me to explore and access different social & leisure activity groups / short courses. I have an interest in meditation, singing & cooking.

Your working time starts when you arrive at my home or any other pre-agreed location of my choice. The level of assistance required could differ day to day depending on my needs and requirements.

This job role is required PAs to have an enhanced DBS check due to supporting myself and my daughter.

You will be a confident driver with your own car travelling In Leeds as well as on motorways when required.

This role requires a range of duties listed below, but not limited to-

Main duties:

Assist with parental duties / tasks in relation to my daughter which includes drop off/pick up from local nursery and accessing swimming sessions for both of us, which will involve getting into pool with us.
Support with preparation for nursery, i.e. getting ready, ensuring her bag is packed and any other related task / duties required.
Help with my daily routine, cooking and preparing meals, washing up, general tidying up, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, helping with accessing social and leisure activities and days out & weekly shopping.
Support me around my personal needs which includes assisting me with hair and make up.
Support me with Accommodation bidding on weekly basis
Assist me with correspondence & attending appointments
Any other reasonable request that I may make.
