Young at heart 68-year-old wheelchair user living in East Ardsley post code WF3 who needs someone who can provide support varying hours weekdays and weekends; no long shifts, usually up to 2 hours at a time.

Various hours can be negotiated, maximum between 8 to 10 hours per week, job share possible.

Weekday: £9.43 an hour at all times
weekend: £11.74 an hour at all times

A female Personal Assistant who can provide me with the support that I require with the flexibility.
As an individual I require assistance with personal care in the morning, cooking and food preparation, cleaning and support when out in the community and administrative tasks. I require a personal assistant who can provide assistance under my guidance, but who will also have the initiative to work in proactive manner.

Main Duties
To support me with tasks such as:

Personal Care
Food preparation and cooking
Cleaning
Laundry
Support me shopping
Administration Tasks
Any other reasonable request that I may make.

The personal qualities I feel are important for my Personal Assistant are to have:

An understanding of the need for confidentiality
Respect for my privacy
A high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
An outgoing and cheerful personality
Both a reliable and a flexible approach to work
IT skills
Good organisational skills
A car driver would be desirable.

Supervision

My personal assistant will be directed by and accountable to me in all aspects of her work. She must always ask what I require and not make assumptions about any aspect of the assistance I need or how it should be done. Honest open communication would be needed.

Enabling me to carry out any chosen activity whether inside or outside my home, by carrying out any other requests that I may reasonably make.
