Female Care Assistant (18+) at the moment it is to provide support to cover maternity leave but it could become permanent.

Up to 20 hours per month to support a female adult with special needs.

Flexible in working hours (at least 3 Saturdays per month)

£13 per hour

Desirable:

Able to drive/have access to their own vehicle

Experience working with special needs children/adults

Able to help the young lady to access activities within the community

Liaise with the family to plan days out for the client

Familiarity with the local area of County Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Support with managing money, community safety and managing activities.

No personal care required

A DBS will be required but this will be paid for by the employer.
