Family Friendly PA for Mother in Tunstead, NR12. 11hrs weekly at £12.38 per hr - Norwich - NR12

Job Purpose: I am a disabled mother of two seeking to employ a Personal Assistant for batch cooking, domestic tasks and support to access the community. My condition means that I can become unbalanced and am prone to falls multiple times a week, this also affects my mobility and energy levels. Due to this I can become anxious and depressed. I need someone to complete the family cooking and cleaning because I cannot manage this myself. I am a single parent and my older son usually helps with household but needs support. My younger son has some disabilities also and you would need to support with parenting and hygiene as well as their presentation. Ideally you will be able to cook healthy and nutritious meals, support to maintain a clean and tidy home environment and help me to conserve my energy so I can focus on parenting effectively as well as accessing the community to improve my social and emotional wellbeing. This will also help my children to be able to have their own pursuits. 

 

Location: Tunstead, NR12 

  

Details: 

Weekly hours are split as follows: 4 hours per week for batch cooking, 3 hours per week domestic tasks, 4 hours per week support to access to the community. Support with parenting. 

  

Person specification 

Essential: 

Caring and friendly. 

Honest. 

Good sense of humour. 

Experience with children. 

Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage.

Summary terms and conditions: 

·         The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour. 

·         Hours and times of work: 11 hours per week, arranged flexibly, exact timing will be advised ahead of time. 

·         The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. 

  

Post is subject to the following: 

·         A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. 

 ·         Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. 

 ·         Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
