Care Assistant required to support a gentleman with MS he lives in the Sacriston area - DURHAM - DH7

Care Assistant required to support a gentleman with MS who uses a wheelchair and lives in the Sacriston area, support required with day to day living tasks.
 
Hours /Wage:
7hr 45mins for Monday morning 8 - 11:30 and Sunday morning 8 - 11:30 and teatime 4 - 4:45 on either a Monday or a Sunday as current Carers are flexible.

£13 per hour

Additional hours available to cover sickness/holidays.
 
Duties:
You will be working alongside a second Carer.
 
Duties to include but not be limited to assistance with financial affairs, medication prompts, shopping, domestic, personal care, food preparation, manual handling and lifting.

Carer must drive as this gentleman needs to be taken to and from appointments and also socialising and activities, social time and hours available for this. He has his own wheelchair accesible vehicle.
 

Additional Requirements/Information:
Car driver with access to own vehicle would be preferred.
 
There is a friendly dog at the property.
 
Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
