Hours: 2 days a week, 3 hours after school term time (6 hours per week during term time); 2 days a week, 6 hours a day during school holidays (12 hours per week during school holidays) dates can be flexible depending on PA availability. 

We’re looking for a kind, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant to support our child with autism. The role involves after-school care during term time and longer daytime support during school holidays.

Consistency and reliability are really important to help build a safe, trusting relationship. We’re looking for someone with experience of working with children with additional needs—specifically autism—who understands how to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive way.

Our child loves buses, soft play, being outside, and staying busy. He is genuinely a joy to be around, but can show challenging behaviour at times due to communication difficulties.

You’ll need to enjoy doing activities, be calm under pressure, and able to create an engaging, structured environment that can meets his needs.

A DBS check will be required
