Care Assistant for a young man in his twenties living in the Fishburn area
The person you would be supporting has a mild learning disability, has issues with his speech and suffers from anxiety.
He is able to communicate with basic verbal communications and also has an iPad to support with communication
Hours /Wage:
12 hours per week £12 per hour
Hours to be worked Monday and Friday, details of times will be provided if selected for interview.
Duties:
We are looking for someone to support this young man to access the community so he can engage in meaningful activities to reduce his social isolation.
You would be supporting him to go out on trips to the seaside, Newcastle, bowling, shopping etc.
Additional Requirements/Information:
You need to have a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
