Care Assistant for a young man F/T@ £15 per hour for 32 hours plus 3 Sleep Nights in CT4 - STELLING MINNIS, CANTERBURY - CT4

One happy competent reliable carer required to care for young man with quadriplegic cerebral palsy in CT4. Client has talking aids and it doesn't take long to get to know client. Client is friendly and enjoys eye gaze games on his computer and outings to the local zoo, shopping, cinema, bowling and cafes. Non smoker preferred due to client's medical condition.
PA/Carer must have a clean full UK driver's licence to be able to drive automatic Motability vehicle, as client attends a day centre in Folkestone twice a week. Please note we live in a rural location so carer must have their own car.
Experience useful, but not essential as full training can be provided.
Usual shifts will be Mondays 4.30 pm to 10pm. Sleep night at £80 per night.
Tuesdays 6.30am till 9.30am.

Wednesdays 6.30am to 10am
1 Saturday in the month from 9.30am to 10pm then Sleep Night. Then on Sunday morning 6.30am to 9.30am so 24 hour shift
Weekend pay is £16 per hour
Duties include getting client up and caring for him, have good interaction playing games with client on PC device, taking him out in his own automatic Motability vehicle . Preparing and feeding him simple cooked food mashed up, personal care, PEG and catheter care, manual handling using ceiling track hoist, assisting hydrotherapy sessions with client and 1 other carer, washing and some ironing, keeping rooms clean and tidy, getting client ready for bed.
Own carer's room with free Wi-Fi, tv, en suite facilities, own kitchen area. Good rates of pay, holiday pay and pension provided.
