Care Assistant for a young girl F/T@ £10.42/hr in Bath - FTE - £0.0k - Bath - BA1

Personal Assistant/Support Worker required for lively 8yr old girl with Autism in Bath, BA1, to access the community and offer respite for family.

2 hours per week Term Time and 4 hours per week School Holidays, flexible days and times to be discussed.

PA will be lone working and providing companionship to access the community and encouragement to engage in social activities such as play parks and the general outdoors. 

Interests: being outside, playing with a ball, talking with people, dancing and singing, eating, role play, craft. Loves Ponies and Dogs 

The ideal candidate will be mature in nature and have experience and understanding of Autism and behavioural issues, and have a calm but firm manner, patience, a good sense of humour and lots of energy.

Car owner preferred but not essential, PA must however have a full, clean UK driving licence. Promoting safety in the community and danger awareness is important.

Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

 

Rate of pay: 2 hours per week Term Time £11.03 and 4 hours per week School Holidays £10.50 per hour.
