Care Assistant for a teenage girl P/T@ £13.00/hr in Stockton-on-tees - Stockton-on-Tees - TS19

A young lady is seeking a reliable, caring and friendly person to support her to get out and about in the community and to do activities such as going to the cinema and concerts. Someone who has a shared interest in musicals and fashion would be ideal. Building a rapport is very important.

She has a diagnosis of primary pulmonary hypertension, epilepsy and left sided hemiplegia following a stroke.

Skills Required:

Due to the medical history, the successful candidate will be a non smoker and need to have experience in care work or nursing, training will be provided around epilepsy and central line maintenance.

The successful candidate will need to have a full driving license and have access to a car. Mileage will be paid for by the employer.

Hours of work:

3 hours a week increasing to 8 hours a week in school holidays (13 weeks of the year). Days of work can be flexible and will be discussed at interview.
