J is a young Disabled man who wants someone likeminded to support him to get out and about to access the community, there may be a small amount of personal care.
J likes to go to museums, concerts, pantomime, cinema and go out for a meal. Jo would also like to play golf, archery and wheelchair basketball. He is interested in Dr Who and would love to attend a Cosplay convention.
Main Duties
To support with:
· Some washing and dressing
· Support accessing the community and social activities as mentioned above to become more independent.
Essential Criteria
· Non-smoker
· Driver to be able to drive Motability car
Personal Qualities & Attributes Required
· Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
· Excellent timekeeping.
· Some previous PA experience would be advantageous but not essential.
· Good communication and social skills.
· To respect confidentiality and privacy.
Location: Patchway, South Gloucestershire.
Hours: 8 hours per week, preferably two half days per week (there is flexibility with the days). Although if J wants to go on a day trip it might be the full 8 hours over one day.
Pay: £11.88 per hour.
Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).
Start Date: ASAP.
