We are looking for a motivated female Personal Care Assistant ,to join an established team of carers ,providing care for a lovely lady with mobility issues within her own home.
Daily duties include: Personal care including morning shower and dressing. Changing positions during the day and assisting back into bed on an evening. Help with eating and drinking, assisting the family on days out and attending hospital appointments and companionship.
Some light household duties including washing , ironing preparing meals and shopping will also be required .
All personal care shifts will be working alongside another member of the team.
Hours are worked over a two week rota.
Up to 20 hours over 2 weekdays week 1. And up to 46 hours over 4 days including the weekend on week 2. Flexibility of hours can be discussed at interview.
Extra hours will be available to cover holidays.
Paid holidays , enrolment to a pension scheme.
Experience is preferred but not essential as all training will be provided.
Exception Under the Equality Act ( 2010) this post is only open to female applicants due to personal assistance.
Full driving licence is essential.
